Popular Cocktails With Acidic Flavors!

Fruit juices, like Lemon, Lime and all citrus fruits are basically acidic in nature. When these juices are mixed in cocktails, the overall result is a little acidic but not too bad for you to drink.

After all, you need them at least a little to stay balanced.

Let us see some of the cocktails that are a little acidic due to the presence of various fruit juices.

Of course, citrus forms a big part of this list. And you get other fruits too like Apple.

What? Apple? How? Find it out here.

Lemon Drop Shots:

This most common and most popular cocktail shot is easy to make and very easy to consume as well. All you need to do is mix lemon juice with Vodka and you get the shot.

Rim the shot glass with Sugar and taste this sour tasting cocktail.

Gimlet:

This is a classical and traditional cocktail using Gin and I would go on to say that this is the most popular Gin cocktail ever. Here, Lime juice is used and of course simple syrup to reduce the sourness a little bit.

Ingredients: Gin, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup

Applesauce Shot:

Here is the Apple flavored cocktail you all have been waiting for. But is Apple acidic? Maybe not, in its true sense. But the Hard Apple Cider is a little bit acidic, I would say. And it has pineapple juice too.

Ingredients: Fireball Whiskey, Apple Schnapps, Pineapple Juice and hard Apple Cider.

Greyhound:

What a lovely name? This cocktail is a simple 2-ingredient drink with just Gin and Grapefruit Juice. The color, the taste and flavors all make this a drink to remember.

Ingredients: Gin, Grapefruit Juice

Daiquiri:

Yet another classical cocktail. Daiquiri has a long tradition and history behind it. The drink is a simple mixture of Light Rum and Lime Juice. Little acidic, but mixing simple syrup will easen it out a bit.

Ingredients: Light Rum, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup

Whiskey Sour:

Mixing Lemon Juice with Whiskey? What? Does it taste good?

It does, rather unsurprisingly!

Ingredients: Whiskey, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup

Matador:

A spanish drink to include in this list with, of course, Tequila. All you need is a quality Silver Tequila, Lime Juice and Pineapple Juice.

Ingredients: Tequila, Lime Juice, Pineapple Juice

White Lady:

The last one here is another Gin cocktail. Gin seems to blend well with Citrus fruits, next to Vodka, of course. So, here, Gin goes with Lemon Juice and a little bit of Orange Liqueur.

Ingredients: Dry Gin, Cointreau, Lemon Juice.
